I did find actual data on the new hardware: What's new about it? The old device seems fine with the newer software thus far.Īlso interesting is my inability to find any hardware spec's on the older ColorMunki. I'm waiting for one of the new devices to turn up to look at before any review. I'm waiting for one of the new devices to test for a review, but I'm told that they are interchangeable with the old CM spectro.īegging another question: So the new hardware isn't a 2008 vintage ColorMunki spectrophotometer?Īs I said on LL, I'm looking forward to your considered review of actually using the software, since IIRC you, like myself were involved in the original ColorMunki release?Īm I right in recalling that at that time you commented that the profiles created by the original kit were quite good? It adds scanner profiling (in the same way as i1Profiler) and includes several B&W printing options in its paper profiling. So the new hardware isn't a 2008 vintage ColorMunki spectrophotometer? The good thing is that it works just fine with my 2008 vintage ColorMunki spectrophotometer - I just downloaded the software and it needs no registration. It's very similar in style to i1Profiler.īegging the question, why spend such limited and glacial software resources while leaving the high end without? How so? Asked here too since apparently X-rite's new product is supposed to be observed as something really new, useful and aid's the i1Profiler customer? After quite a wait, X-Rite have completely re-vamped the ColorMunki Photo software with i1Studio.
